The story of a walk into the stones ...

Sometimes I wonder ...
Sometimes I wonder why I moved  ? why leaving Paris to get lost in this far area ?
I don't need much time to find out the answer ... it is right in front of me, right around me ... right in these stones which are talking to me ...
In this cloudy Saturday, I decided to bring my girls to Eus, this beautiful village stuck on a mountain side ... only 40 km from my home.
It seems to be there for ages, living peacefully out of time ... without cars ... without noise ... Eus became a life-size playground for my little 2 explorers.
This is not a cinema set, this is reality, the one which seems to be built only for beauty ...
Each corner is a surprise for eyes ... all these stones are amazing ... they are telling us a part of the humanity story ... the humanity who's been living here for so long as if the time didn't affect it.
When the greenery of the spring gets involved in the roughness of stones ...
Even my Pimprenelle is astonished by such beauty ...
Is this what we call a little piece of heaven ?
Ready for a hide-and-seek ?
We are in "Catalunya" ...  French Catalunya ... streets names are often written in catalan ... on beautiful ceramic signs.
A village in height ...
View on the church ...
A typical square bell tower of Catalunya area ... lilacs are smelling so good ...

Spring is blooming ...
An old zinc basin forgotten in a hidden passage ...
Snack time ...
... Pimprenelle is having a grenadian syrup ... a coffee for me ...
and a sugar French pancake for Bouchon ... who's enjoying soooo much ...
in this peaceful place whis is called "Des Goûts et des Couleurs" ... so welcoming ...
Pyreneans sheepdogs are playing on the village main place ... under the eye of their handler ... they made my girls laugh ...
I just love where I live ... I am surrounded of amazing places between mountains and sea ... welcome in my new home ... welcome in Pyrénées-Orientales, South of France ... this small area in Catalunya ...
